BSNL Launches Two New Long Validity 3G Data Plans
Pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today announced the launch of two new long validity 3G Data Plan” for Rs. 2500 and Rs. 5000 with 6 month validity for its subscribers in all telecom circles across India. BSNL’s New Prepaid 3G Data Recharge Voucher (DRV) of Rs. 2500 offers 12 GB FREE data usage while with Data Plan of Rs. 5000 subscriber will get 30 GB Data usage benefits. Both 3G Data Recharge Voucher comes with the validity of 180 days from the date of recharge and can be used on Mobile Phone as well as 3G Data Card. The 3G data usage will be valid for Home as well as National Roaming across India.The new plans will be available from 6th June,2011 on Pan India basis.
BSNL Revamps GPRS Data Packs – Now 3 GB for Rs. 98
In View of the competition from the other Mobile Service operators and in view to continue its best offers in industry, India’s National telecom Backbone and Mobile service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today revamped its GPRS/2G Mobile Internet offerings. BSNL has made bit changes and now its Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers will get more FREE Data Usage in monthly pack of Rs. 98 and some other 2G data packs. Now with BSNL Prepaid GPRS Pack of Rs. 98 customer will get the free data benefit of 3 GB with a validity of 30 days, with Rs. 219 you can enjoy 8 GB data download with a validity of 30 days whereas with Rs. 270 GPRS pack, you can enjoy downloading for 10 GB and with Rs. 555 free data usage cap will be 15 GB valid for 180 days

BSNL Now Officially In Twitter and Facebook
After Tata Docomo, Vodafone, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Mobile, Idea Cellular, Tata Indicom and Aircel, finally state run Pan India 3G Mobile Service Operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) joined the bandwagon of social networking sites and has come up with its own official Twitter and Facebook account. BSNL’s Twitter account (3G Live) was active from 16th Sept 2010 and FaceBook account was created on 4 October 2010 but officially announced by today as their corporate website (bsnl.co.in) start to mention FaceBook and Twitter handle link on home page. In most cases, BSNL talk about freebies, product, and marketing. Although @BSNLLiVE3G (BSNL’s twitter handle) do not take any complaints from consumers on Twitter, it still goes back to their customer service unlike all private mobile service operators which they usually follow up for the customer on all issue.
BSNL Unveils Pan India Offers For Mobile Number Portability
India’s National Telecom back bone and pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) all set to launch Nation Wide Mobile Number Portability by 20 January. The PSU today unveils its Pan-India MNP offer, which will give Free Connection, Free Mobile Internet and lots more for all Port-in customers who Switch to BSNL from any other service providers across all the telecom circles except Haryana. The much awaited Mobile Number Portability (MNP) service schedule to launch by 20 January on Pan-India basis as earlier we hare on TelecomTalk. According to the BSNL offer the MNP Port-in charges of Rs. 19 shall be waived off and Free SIM card (32K) will be provided for all “Port In” subscribers who Switch to BSNL. Apart from the Free In-Porting, For prepaid subscribers, The STV/First Recharge Coupon (FRC) chosen by the customer to use the BSNL Mobile Services shall be FREE of cost if Port-in is through BSNL CSC. At the time of activation of all Port-in customers, will also get Additional FREE Talk Time of Rs. 100 in addition to the normal FREE talk value applicable with FRC. All Port-in customers will be offered GPRS Data Access up to 5 GB for one month free of charge. While for Postpaid Subscribers, The Activation Charges will be waived off and 50% rebate in the Fixed Monthly Rental/Charges (FMC) will be offered of first month after port in to BSNL. The Freebies for Call/SMS/Data will be will remain same as Tariff Plan selected by Port In subscriber.
BSNL Launches Micro SIM Card With Unlimited 3G Plan For Apple iPad

BSNL Adds Highest Number of New GSM Subscribers In December
India’s National Telecom back bone and pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has added a total of 3.19 million GSM subscribers which is the highest number of new mobile subscribers additions in the month of December 2010. BSNL’s GSM subscriber base now reached 81.38 million, as per the COAI data.
It’s Official, Nation Wide MNP To Come In Force From Tomorrow
Finally, India will see nation wide introduction of Mobile Number Portability (MNP) — which allows a mobile phone users to change his service provider while retaining his existing mobile number from tomorrow i.e. 20th January 2011.
